History
In 1999, Mr. Dang Van Thach, an experienced chemical engineer from Binh Dinh Province who moved to Ho Chi Minh City earlier to work as a technical manager for a well-known concrete batching plant, inspired to be an entrepreneur and saw the opportunity with an emerging niche sector of construction chemical / specialty chemical. In the late 1990s early 2000s, Vietnam construction chemical was dominated with foreign companies, Mr. Thach envisioned a Vietnamese chemical manufacturer that create solutions for Vietnam buildings with the emphases on understanding user problems and providing high quality solutions.
Sieu Cuong Corporation® was founded in 30/03/1999, by Mr. Dang Van Thach with his wife Mrs. Ngo Thi Kim Loan and two other friends as investors, to deliver Mr. Thach's vision and to be a direct competitor with foreign brands in Vietnam. Mr. Dang Van Thach offered exterior and interior putty as the initial products. Since then, as Vietnam economy got larger exponentially, the construction sector expanded, Sieu Cuong Corp. grew sustainably and cemented its place to be the top Vietnamese manufacturer. Our product portfolio which was developed in-house became the solution to the customer latest needs. To transform the business to meet new markets and foreign investments in Vietnam, Mr. Thach decided to founded Bestmix Corporation® to be Sieu Cuong Corporation's successor. The name is the combination of BEST and MIXTURE, not only we are a chemical manufacturer, but also we want to bring "the best mixture" of "PEOPLE", "PRODUCT" and "SERVICE" to the public.
Milestones
Sieu Cuong Corporation Founded
Recognizing the potential of Vietnam's growing construction market, Mr. Dang Van Thach established Sieu Cuong Corporation with support from two friends and his wife, Mrs. Ngo Thi Kim Loan. The company's first product was a line of interior and exterior putty.
First Standardized Factory Built
Sieu Cuong relocated its manufacturing operations to a new factory in District 9 (now Thu Duc City), expanding its team to 30 employees and establishing an office in Go Vap District.
Bestmix Corporation Established & Binh Duong Factory Opened
To meet rising demand from both foreign investors and the domestic market, Bestmix Corporation was founded. Operations moved to a modern factory in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province. Production capacity grew significantly, and the product line expanded to over 50 items, including bonding and repair solutions.
Expansion to Northern & Central Vietnam
New branches in Da Nang and Hanoi were opened to serve local markets more efficiently. A central factory was established to streamline distribution and scale operations. By this time, Bestmix products were available in 150 stores nationwide.
Ongoing Growth & Global Reach
Bestmix's product line grew to over 160 solutions serving the full spectrum of construction needs. A new branch in Nha Trang was launched, and construction began on a northern Vietnam factory. Bestmix also entered international markets, with products now reaching Mongolia, Cambodia, Australia and New Zealand. Our offerings continue to meet the rigorous standards of both domestic and international clients, including new B2B opportunities.
